Organise an event for us, even from the comfort of your own home!!

A few simple and easy fundraising ideas to get you started;

 

• Online pub quiz – become the quizmaster and raise a glass with your friends and family! You could host the quiz on video chat or send questions by email.

• Virtual dinner party - invite your friends to dinner over webcam. You can all donate to attend, or pay what you would have spent dining out. 

• Movie night – use the Netflix Party Chrome Extension to host a movie night for you and your friends, with everyone logging on from their sofa at home and donating the cost of a cinema ticket - https://www.netflixparty.com/ 

• Run a class – teach your friends and family something new, like online yoga, a language or cooking or art class. Or you could send recipes by email for a donation.

• Give a gift – use your creativity for a good cause - write poems, songs, make something with arts and crafts to raise money - send these to people online or by post  

• Alphabet challenge - create one big challenge based around the letters of the alphabet (A-activity exercise, B-10 Ball headers, C-wash 4 Cars, D-20 Dog walks etc)

• Car washing day

• Coffee Morning

• Set yourself a reading challenge

• Cake sale

• 60 second challenge - set yourself a target to achieve in 60 seconds and get sponsored

• Raffle

• Sell your artwork / paintings

• Memory challenge (think of something to memorise, get sponsored and then do the test live)

• Virtual showdown – challenge your friends and family to a card game, chess tournament or bingo over video chat, with a donation per entry and a prize for the winner!

• Plan a walk or run that friends and family of all ages can enjoy, set yourself a garden lap goal and collect sponsors, or do some hand stand walking for a set amount of seconds or minutes

• Make a treasure hunt around your neighbourhood and ask for a donation for individuals to enter. 

• Gardening Competition - whether it’s sunflowers or tomatoes, pick your plant.  See who can grow the most impressive greenery in a set time and get everyone to make a donation to take part. Something everyone can get involved with or hold a best garden photo comp!!

The Kent Autistic Trust are registered with registered with Easyfundraising who donate money to our charity every time you shop online.  We are also registered with Everyclick and Affilyon, who give money to our charity every time you search the internet using your search engine.  For the online shopping site Easyfundraising.org.uk. All you need to do is register with their site and choose Kent Autistic Trust as your charity. You can then use the site to shop online with Amazon, Ebay, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and many more, and part of the money you spend will be donated to The Kent Autistic Trust.
