Justin Isherwood; our KAT Occupational Therapist, and Duncan from the National Trust have been working together to arrange a trip to Sissinghurst Castle for some of the people we support. We were kindly invited for a guided tour by Duncan so he could gain feedback about how to make the environment more suitable for autistic individuals.
Duncan is hoping to make the gardens more accessible, and we were able to give him some great tips and ideas. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time there, the gardens were beautiful, quiet, relaxing and the view from the tower was amazing.
